While the road is still closed, those participating
in the ceremonies have the opportunity to drive between LaGrange (Route
C) and Canton (Route P), immediately following the ribbon
cutting. Prior to the ribbon cutting, drivers are asked to park at
the LaGrange ball fields on Route C where they will be escorted to the
new highway once the ribbon cutting ceremony begins. The drive is approximately
5 miles long and will be led by the Governor. A public
reception is being held at the tent near County Market at Route P
in Canton.
