"Highway Survivor" provides juniors and seniors an interactive experience on highway safety so that they may become safer drivers.
The game is spun from the popular television reality show and can be played by many students at one time. Tribes of students are asked to answer questions that pertain to highway safety. They are given tribal challenges and an opportunity to win prizes.
We offer this opportunity to high schools throughout northeast Missouri. The game is held in a gymnasium or large open area and takes approximately one hour, depending on the number of students who participate.
Twila Tanner, who was the first runner-up in the television reality show "Survivor - Vanuatu," is a maintenance worker with the Missouri Department of Transportation. Twila assists with Highway Survivor whenever her schedule allows.
