HANNIBAL - Due to delays caused by the recent cool, wet weather, MoDOT crews have rescheduled resurfacing on various routes in Audrain and Monroe Counties over the next few weeks. Crews have tentatively planned resurfacing on the following routes listed below on the dates and times indicated. These dates could potentially change. If the work is rescheduled to a later date MoDOT will issue a news release.

Route AA - May 2 resurfacing with cold mix asphalt from Route 15 south of Paris to Route 24 between Holliday and Madison.

Route C - May 3-4 resurfacing with cold mix asphalt from Route AA north to Route 24 just east of Holliday.

Route 24 - May 3-5 resurfacing with hot mix asphalt from Paris to Madison; one lane traffic, with cautionary signs and flaggers at the work zone.

Route ZZ Audrain and Monroe - May 5 & 6 resurfacing with cold mix asphalt between Route D and Route Z.

Route 151 - May 6 resurfacing with hot mix asphalt from the Audrain County line to Centralia Route 22.

Route E - May 6 resurfacing with hot mix asphalt from Route 15 to Route 22.

Route YY - May 9 & 10 resurfacing with cold mix asphalt from Route 151 to the Randolph County line.

Route M - May 11-13 resurfacing with cold mix asphalt from Route 151 to the Randolph County line.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. with a pilot car leading traffic through the work zone. Delays should be expected, please allow ample driving time to your destination. Construction equipment and trucks hauling material will be entering and exiting the work zone; please use extra caution while traveling through these areas. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes due to fresh oil and loose gravel while crews are working.

All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins. Those traveling and commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones.
