HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, beginning Wednesday afternoon, April 9, MoDOT crews will be cleaning debris from overpasses along eastbound and westbound Interstate 70 in Warren County. This is a moving operation with one lane traffic as sweeping equipment will be working near the edge line and shoulder area on the overpasses at various locations from Foristell to the A/B overpass near Pendleton at the 188 mile marker just east of the Montgomery County line.Crews will be working 2 shifts from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. each day to complete this work beginning Wednesday afternoon through Friday, April 11. Sweeping equipment and crews will be working close to traffic in the work zone removing debris; motorists are urged to use extra caution while traveling through these areas.All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. Drivers are also invited to rate MoDOT work zones online at modot.org.
