HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, beginning Monday night, April 14, MoDOT crews will be cleaning debris from the drains along the barrier wall on westbound Interstate 70 in Warren County. Crews will have traffic reduced to one lane working in the passing lane along the barrier wall at various locations from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. every evening through Thursday morning, April 17 to reduce the inconvenience to motorists.
Cleanup work will begin along the barrier wall at various locations in the westbound lane passing lane from the 201 to the 193 mile marker. Crews and equipment will be working close to traffic in the work zone removing debris; motorists are urged to use extra caution while traveling through these areas.
All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. Drivers are also invited to rate MoDOT work zones online at modot.org. MoDOT also offers e-update messages sent directly to your email when roadwork is scheduled.
