HANNIBAL - This afternoon, Thursday, October 20, Route V north of Troy will open to traffic after a little over a month of work to replace the Sugar Creek Bridge. The contractor plans to open the bridge to traffic by 2 p.m. today.

The 50 year old bridge, which closed for replacement on September 19, was replaced under MoDOT's innovative Safe and Sound Bridge Program with a new two lane, four-foot wider bridge.
