The Annual High School Seat Belt Results Are In!
Is YOUR teen buckling up all the time, every time!
This is a survey performed by the Missouri Safety Center annually at selected high schools across the state.  We have included the schools surveyed in NE Missouri (below):

After reading your school's information, consider another sobering statistic...in any person's lifetime, there is a 100% chance of being involved in a car crash.

Increase your teen's chance of surviving a car crash...not only is it the law, but it's the safest thing to do every time.  (And it doesn't hurt to set a good example!)

Troy Buchanan High School

Of the 1500 students at Troy Buchanan High School, 66% are wearing a seat belt.  This means 34% of them are not.

Think about it in this way....510 students are not buckling up, and the trend shows that 70% of the people killed in Missouri were NOT buckled in.  So...there's a chance that 357 of these students, if involved in a car crash, would not survive.

Hannibal High School

Of the 1100 students at Hannibal High School, 57% are wearing a seat belt.  This means 43% of them are not.
