Dale Morrow has retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) after 25 years of service. Dale was a maintenance crew leader at MoDOT's maintenance facility in New Florence at the time of his retirement, October 1, 2009.
Friends, family and co-workers honored Morrow with a retirement celebration at the New Florence building. When speaking of the celebration, Dale said, "I gave everyone there the opportunity to give me a hard time but nobody did." Several presentations were made, both fun and serious. Morrow said he and his wife, Kathy, who also attended the reception, were very appreciative of the MoDOT family, especially when their home burnt down last year. He also recognized his co-workers for their team work and all the hard work they do to keep the highways in good shape and safe.
Dale's retirement plans include helping his family, wood cutting, deer hunting, and maybe even squirrel hunting.
Dale and his wife reside in Montgomery County.
