Bond Bridge Dedication Ceremony

Thank you to the City of Hermann and surrounding communities

for your support and participation in the

Senator Christopher S. Bond Bridge Dedication Ceremony

held last Friday, October 12 in Hermann.

Speakers for the event:  US Senator Christopher S. "Kit" Bond, MoDOT Chief Engineer Kevin Keith,

Lt. Governor Peter Kinder, Master of Ceremonies Jon Held, Ms. Florence Mundwiller-Kelly,

and US Congressman Kenny Hulshof.


US Congressman Kenny Hulshof speaks of the Transportation Corporation's

determination and perserverance to obtain a new bridge at Hermann.


On behalf of the community, other speakers, and MoDOT, a sign was presented to Senator Bond.

Senator Bond "enlightened" the audience first by switching on the historical lights that line the new bridge, then spoke of the commitment of the community and all elected officials to help the new bridge become a reality.
