Left: LANE WORK PROGRESSING - Dump truck travels on old U.S. 61, which is being rebuilt while two-way traffic travels on the new northbound lanes. This is about three miles north of Canton.
Right: CULVERT WORK - A wooden frame for a concrete drainage culvert is lifted in place. The cement for the culvert must be poured, before lane work can begin.
Concrete for the last main section in the Lewis County portion of U.S. 61 to be four-laned for the Avenue of the Saints project was poured on June 8, 2007.
