The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is soliciting Letters of Interest (LOI) from companies interested in providing Design-Build services for the Improve I-70 KC corridor project from The Paseo Blvd to US 40 in Kansas City, Missouri. One Design-Build team will be selected using the Best Value selection process to design and construct the project.
An industry meeting is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Missouri Department of Transportation – Kansas City District Office, 600 NE Colbern Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086. At the meeting, a presentation will be made on the project, followed by a question-and-answer period and time for networking. The schedule for release of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be discussed at the meeting.
Firms interested in receiving project information should send a one-page LOI to MoDOT by email to improvei70kc@modot.mo.gov, no later than Thursday, July 20, 2023, to ensure that you receive project information and announcements. An email response verifying receipt of the LOI will be provided.
The LOI shall include the company name, contact person, and contact information including address, phone number, and e-mail address. Please indicate if your firm is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).
