Stadium Boulevard Project to Impact Interstate 70 Ramps

COLUMBIA – The Missouri Department of Transportation’s project to improve the driving surface of Missouri Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) in Columbia will impact entrance and exit ramps at Interstate 70 over several evenings next week.

The I-70 eastbound exit ramp and the westbound entrance ramp will both be closed on July 26 and 27. In addition, two of the three northbound lanes of Stadium Boulevard will be closed on July 26, with one lane of northbound Stadium to be closed on July 27.

The I-70 westbound exit ramp and eastbound entrance ramp will be closed July 28 and 29. In addition, two of the three southbound lanes of Stadium Boulevard will be closed on July 28, with one lane of southbound Stadium to be closed on July 29.

Work will take place between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Message boards will detour I-70 motorists around the Stadium Boulevard ramp closures, via the West Boulevard interchange.

MoDOT appreciates the continued patience of commuters during this project. Drivers are encouraged to stay focused, obey all traffic signs, and give crews room to work.

Work is weather permitting and could be delayed. For more information about this project, visit modot.org/stadiumresurfacing. For other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central.
