Bolivar, Polk County – A public meeting to share a plan to improve safety at the intersection of Route 13 and Polk County Routes U-Y is planned for December 7 in Bolivar, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The public is invited to meet with MoDOT representatives from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, at the Bolivar City Hall at 345 S. Main Avenue. The meeting will be come-and-go style with NO FORMAL PRESENTATION planned.
At the public meeting, attendees can view plans for upgrading the intersection along with other informational exhibits including a computer animation.
Anyone unable to attend the public meeting can view the same exhibits at an online public meeting at www.modot.org/southwest.
The estimated total project cost is $1.2-$1.8 million.
The intersection project will take place in 2018.
