Road Work Will Close Wright County Route N
West of Mountain Grove Tuesday-Wednesday, Feb. 22-23

MoDOT, District 8, Springfield -- Wright County Route N two miles west of Route 95 at Mountain Grove will be closed round the clock Tuesday and Wednesday, February 22 and 23, for a pipe replacement project.

Missouri Department of Transportation crews are scheduled to begin the project and close the road at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The road is scheduled to be re-opened by the end of the work day on Wednesday.

Drivers who use Route N will have to find an alternate route.

Electronic message boards are set up to alert drivers to the road closing.

Rain, snow and/or cold temperatures will postpone the work.

MoDOT crews from Mountain Grove plan to remove a deteriorating metal drain pipe underneath the highway and replace it with a new concrete pipe.
