Resurfacing Planned for Missouri
Boulevard in Cole County
COLE COUNTY –
Beginning on Monday, August 15, and continuing for several weeks,
Jefferson Asphalt, a contractor for the Missouri Department of
Transportation will be resurfacing Business Route 50 (Missouri
Boulevard) in Cole County.
The resurfacing work will extend from Route 50 to Ten-Mile Drive.
Work will take place Monday through Thursday night from 8 p.m.
to 6 a.m. and Friday night from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Crews will close
one lane of traffic during the resurfacing work starting with
the westbound lane and later moving to the eastbound lane. Motorists
are encouraged to slow down and pay attention to all signing in
the work zones.
MoDOT will have various types of traffic control to secure the
safety of the motoring public as well as the safety of their employees.
