2005-2006
Missouri Aeronautical Chart Available
JEFFERSON
CITY - Missouri's latest aeronautical chart is now available,
at no charge, to pilots and other aviation enthusiasts.
The 2005-2006 Missouri Aeronautical Chart is produced by the Missouri
Department of Transportation as a planning tool for pilots and
users of Missouri's aviation system.
The
new aeronautical chart includes a detailed listing of all aviation
weather reporting stations in the state, their frequencies and
phone numbers. Standard features include airport and navigation
data, communication frequencies and an air mileage chart. The
map is printed on synthetic paper, which increases durability.
The
cover photo for the chart features the cockpit of a 2002 Bombardier
Challenger 604 based at one of mid-Missouri's airports.
Funding
to produce the chart comes from aviation fuel taxes through the
State Aviation Trust Fund.

charts are available at most local airports in Missouri, by contacting
