Missouri Teaching Out-Reach or MoTOR, a transportation and engineering program, is a hands-on career development education program. It was designed for and made available to schools throughout the Missouri Department of Transportation's 10 districts, and to be integrated into science, math, social studies, economics CADD, engineer and art classes.
Volunteers within the transportation profession go into elementary and secondary schools (grades 6 through 12) with an assortment of activities related to transportation. Click here learn more about MoTOR in your school.
Activities may consist of computer work, electronic data collection and analysis instruments, hands-on modeling materials and more than three dozen activities based on real-world transportation problems.

When you engage students in solving real-world
problems, the program connects kids to the work
world of the transportation field. |
