RESURFACING PORTIONS OF ROUTES
D AND Y IN CASS COUNTY
Tuesday, April 22 from 5 - 7 p.m.
Snead’s Bar-B-Q Restaurant at the southeast corner of Routes 58 and D
The Missouri Department of Transportation will resurface portions of Routes D and Y in Cass County this year, fixing some of the most troublesome highways in MoDOT’s District 4.
But before moving forward with plans for these routes, MoDOT wants highway users to weigh in on some of the options under consideration. Some options may speed up construction, but also close portions of the highway for several days at a time.
Come to a public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Snead’s Bar-B-Q restaurant at the southeast corner of Routes 58 and D to hear the latest and provide your input on these important transportation projects.
Three separate projects are planned for this season: Reconstruction of Route D from just south of Route 58 to just north of Route 150; resurfacing of Route D from Route Y in Cleveland to Route A near Drexel; and resurfacing of Route Y from Route D in Cleveland to Route YY west of Peculiar.
Each project has different challenges and various methods of improvement. MoDOT’s engineers, designers and maintenance personnel will be available to discuss options and seek your input.
