CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation has made the following revised work schedule as part of an ongoing Route 210 and I-435 Interchange Improvement Project. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the right lane of eastbound Route 210 between Searcy Creek and I-435 from 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 16 through 6 a.m. Friday, May 18 for drainage pipe work. ***adjusted schedule***

Crews will close the left lane of westbound Route 210 between I-435 and Searcy Creek from 6 a.m. Thursday, May 17 through 6 a.m. Saturday, May 19 for drainage pipe work. ***adjusted schedule***

This is all part of a project to build a new diverging diamond interchange for I-435 and Route 210, which includes replacing the old twin bridges over I-435 and Route 210 and widening I-435.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
