Crews Will Close Inside Shoulder of Eastbound and Westbound U.S. 50 Beginning July 17

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the inside shoulder of both eastbound and westbound U.S. Route 50 beneath the bridge at O’Brian Road beginning Monday, July 17, at 7 a.m. through Friday, July 28 at 8 p.m. The closure is for bridge repairs and all work is weather permitting.

The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to always wear safety belts, follow posted speed limits and be alert for slowed traffic, narrowed lanes or a reduced number of lanes during construction and maintenance work. And remember, every work zone is a NO PHONE ZONE.
