JACKSON COUNTY – There will be multiple ramp and lane closures along Interstate 35 beginning March 17 at 7:30 p.m. through 4:30 p.m. the following day according to the Missouri Department of Transportation. These closures are for roadway pavement repair work, roadside improvement, and guardrail work. All work is weather permitting and is not anticipated to remain the entire length of time noted.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
