HARRISONVILLE - Construction of a turn lane at the temporary crossing at 299^th will close various lanes and shoulders at times on both southbound and northbound Route 71 between 289^th and 327^th Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through February 11.

The work is part of a $6.3 million MoDOT project to eliminate at-grade intersections at 283^rd, 307^th and 327^th, build crossovers at 283^rd and 327^th and a new interchange at 307^th. When completed, Route 71 from the Arkansas border to 3-Trails Crossing in Kansas City will become I-49.
