BELTON, Mo. - The ramp from 163^rd Street to northbound Route 71 will re-open by mid-afternoon Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The opening of the new ramp at the reconstructed interchange will provide more access at 163^rd Street from neighborhoods east and west to Route 71. Construction continues on the other two ramps and the widening of 163^rd Street at the interchange, all of which will be phased in as work proceeds this fall.

Construction crews are working on the ramps from 163^rd Street to southbound Route 71 and from northbound Route 71 to 163^rd Street, and additional lanes of 163^rd Street beneath the Route 71 bridges. The interchange is expected to be fully functioning by late this year.
