MoDOT DRAFT FTEIS is Available

The Study Team has completed a Draft First Tier Environmental Impact Statement (Draft FTEIS), which evaluates the first tier strategies and proposes the identified preferred strategy for improving I-70 in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.  Join MoDOT for a public comment period during which you can comment on the Draft FTEIS document until May 7, 2010. 

A public hearing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 12 at Noland Road Baptist Church (4505 South Noland Road) in Independence, Missouri. 

An identical hearing will be held at the Gregg/Klice Community Center (1600 John “Buck” O’Neil Way) in Kansas City, Missouri from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13.  An online public hearing will happen on this website from April 1 to May 7.
