Crews began work on Augutst 10 and are currently working to improve the sidewalks along Route 169. Motorists can anticipate single lane closures as work progresses through the area. Crews are currently working from Route DD to First Street, closing the right lane. Work is anticipated to be complete by winter.
Public informational meeting was held on Thursday, July 23.
The letting date was June 26, with a notice to proceed.

PROJECT COMPLETE. The contractor is began this project on November 5 and finished it November 11. Project was awarded in February to Chester Bross Construction in combination with the thin lift overlay projects for Route M and Route C in Ray County and Route FF in Lafayette County.
The total awarded for the combination of projects was $1.6 million.
