Missouri's transportation plan. The unit oversees long-range
transportation planning and policy
development, and provides expertise in bicycle and pedestrian
facilities, economic development issues, and air quality issues.
Transportation Planning develops and manages the Five-Year
Statewide
Transportation Improvement Program, which is the
state's highway and bridge construction program. It

and improve Missouri's highways and bridges as well as how
to make overall safety improvements to the transportation
system.
