Interstates and US Routes

US Route 59 is open from Mo. 49 to the Kansas State Line southwest of St. Joseph, Mo. in Buchanan County.

     Motorists may experience delays at the Amelia Earhart bridge spanning the Missouri River at Atchison, Kan. Bridge deck repairs are underway and traffic is limited to one lane. The Kansas Department of Transportation expects to complete the project in mid-December 2011.
