Temporary Change to Intersection of Missouri Boulevard and Eastbound 54

JEFFERSON CITY – As part of the pedestrian improvements taking place on Missouri Boulevard (Business Route 50) in Jefferson City, starting today, westbound Missouri Boulevard traffic will not be allowed to make left turns onto the eastbound Route 54 entrance ramp and travelers on the eastbound Route 54 exit ramp will only be allowed to make right turns on to eastbound Missouri Boulevard.

These closures will be in effect until Saturday, Dec. 17.

The project involves reconstructing existing deficient sidewalks to bring them into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). It also includes installing crosswalks and pedestrian signals at multiple intersections.

For more information about these projects or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central  or follow the Central District Facebook page at facebook.com/MoDOTCentralMissouriDistrict.
