Route 42 Bridge in Maries County to Get New Deck

MARIES COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding an online public meeting to share information about an upcoming project that will replace the deck on the Route 42 bridge over the Little Maries River Bridge in Maries County.

The proposed work will improve safety for motorists and will require a full closure of Route 42. Information about the project is available for comment at www.modot.org/central/MariesRoute42bridge.htm.

An online comment form is available on the project webpage for anyone who would like to provide feedback. The public comment period runs from Friday, November 18 through Monday, December 10.
