MoDOT Central District News Release
MONITEAU COUNTY - A bridge deck replacement on Route D at the Moniteau Creek Bridge in Moniteau County is now scheduled to begin on Monday, August 17, weather permitting. The bridge work was originally scheduled to start on August 3. The Moniteau Creek Bridge is located five miles north of Route O.The bridge will be closed to traffic during construction, which is scheduled through late September. Motorists will be detoured around the work area on Routes O, J, and 87.The improvements are part of MoDOT's Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program, which will improve 800 of Missouri's worst bridges in five years. Ninety bridges will be replaced or repaired in the mid-Missouri area as a part of this program.
