BOONE COUNTY - A bridge deck replacement on Route F at the Sugar Creek Bridge in Boone County will begin on Wednesday, May 6, weather permitting. The Sugar Creek Bridge is located five miles west of U.S. Route 63.

The bridge will be closed to traffic during construction, which is scheduled through the end of May. Motorists will be detoured around the work area on Routes B, T, and 63.

The improvements are being planned as part of MoDOT's Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program, which will improve 800 of Missouri's worst bridges in five years. Ninety bridges will be replaced or repaired in the mid-Missouri area as a part of this program.
