The Missouri Department of Transportation is conducting an environmental impact study to examine what improvements might address current and future needs for safety and capacity on the Rex Whitton Expressway in Jefferson City.  A public hearing for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement was held on Feb. 2, 2010.  The comment period for the hearing closed on Feb. 22, 2010.
