Conventions
| Information on MoDOT Drafting
Standards |
| The drawing name or filename
convention for MicroStation drawings within the Missouri Department
of Transportation has been standardized so drawings can be between
districts and units. MicroStation allows the use of long file
names. The Design, Bridge and Construction units within
MoDOT have agreed to the following convention: |

bridge exception: |
| The Bridge division uses a slightly different
naming convention. This convention follows the same style
used by the other divisions above, but the units and scale
fields are dropped as the current Bridge CADD Standards do
not use linestyle scales.
