Business with MoDOT

How to Become a MoDOT Vendor for the Purpose of Obtaining Plans

MoDOT project plans can be accessed electronically using MoDOT's plansroom

Plans can be viewed online by anyone. In order to download plans you must have a plans room account. To create a plans room account you must have a valid e-mail address and a MoDOT Vendor ID.

Prime Contractors

All contractors bidding on MoDOT construction projects must be prequalified to bid before a bid can accepted. During the prequalification process a vendor number is assigned.  Click Here for more information on becoming prime contractor.

When a prime contractor selects a subcontractor to work for them, the subcontractor must register with MoDOT before work can be completed on a MoDOT right-of-way.  During the registration process a vendor number is assigned. Click Here for more information on registering as a subcontractor.

Not A Prime Contractor Or Subcontractor, But Still Want To Download Plans?

The plansroom system that allows access to download plans requires a vendor number.  If an entity has not received a vendor number by performing contracting work with MoDOT, a vendor number can be issued for the sole purpose of accessing the plans.  Please see the section below for more information.

Request a MoDOT vendor number by contacting Christina Teter at (573) 751-8305 or Christina.Teter@modot.mo.gov.

After submitting the required information, you will be assigned a vendor number.  Once a vendor number is assigned, a plans room account can be created in order to download plans.
