Roberta Broeker is MoDOT’s chief financial officer, a position she was named to in August, 2005. She previously served as the agency’s director of audits and investigations, a position she assumed in April 2000.                As chief financial officer, Broeker reports to the department director and oversees MoDOT’s financial and administrative operations, including the agency’s $2.2 billion budget.  She manages the agency’s System Facilitation Team, which includes Equal Opportunity, Employee Benefits, Information Systems, Human Resources, General Services, Resource Management, the Controller’s Division and Risk Management.                Broeker received a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in accounting in 1980 from Southeast Missouri State University. She came to MoDOT in 1998 from the State Auditor's office, where she was an audit manager. She previously held a number of successively responsible auditing positions in that office, which she joined in 1980.                Broeker, a native of Washington, Mo., is a certified public accountant, a certified internal auditor and a certified government financial manager. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Government Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors and has held a number of leadership roles in these professional organizations.
