David
A. Gach was appointed to the Missouri Highways and Transportation
Commission in July 2005.His term expires in March
2011.
Gach
is owner and president of a diesel repair business in St.
Joseph.He also manages a land excavation company,
owns/leases commercial property, and owns several acres
of farmland.He served in the United States military
as a Navy Seabee in 1964.
He
is a member of the St. Joseph Mayor's Smart Growth Committee,
as well as the St. Joseph area Chamber of Commerce and its
booster club.He served as a board member of the
Missouri Motor Carriers Association in 2004, and has been
a member for the past 20 years.He was also on the
Bishop LeBlond High School board.
Gach
also volunteers his time to St. Francis Xavier Church,Habitat
For Humanity and the Knights of Columbus.
Gach
and his wife Theresa reside in St. Joseph.They have
six children and eight grandchildren.
