EAST ST. LOUIS - The Illinois Department of Transportation is pleased to announce that all lanes of the Martin Luther King (MLK) Bridge will be open to traffic by late Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Motorists are urged to reduce speed and use extra caution when traveling through the area as the traffic lanes have been changed to include only one westbound lane and two eastbound lanes. The contractor on the project is Keeley & Sons, Inc. of East St. Louis, Illinois.
