MoDOT St. Louis Area District News Release
I-64 Community Relations Manager Linda Wilson, 314-340-4117
ST. LOUIS - One month of the closure of the east half of I-64 from I-170 to Kingshighway, traffic patterns are consistent each morning and evening rush. The three major east-west alternate routes of Page, Forest Park Parkway and Manchester have stabilized with travel times almost identical to each of the other routes. Motorists have spread out between these three major alternates and should continue doing so. The morning peak time has moved slightly earlier to between 7:30 and 8 a.m. while the evening peak continues to be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
For the full travel time reports on the major alternate routes for Tuesday night and this morning, visit www.modot.org/stlouis. These reports will continue through this Friday and then will continue on a twice monthly reporting basis.
