Interstate 64 Work - Kingshighway to Jefferson

*This work is not part of The New Interstate 64 project, but is a

    nearby contract that affects traffic on Interstate 64 just east of
    Kingshighway.

WEEKLY UPDATE - Friday, September 4

Interstate 64 (east of Kingshighway) Work Schedule
*All work is weather permitting
*This rehabilitation project is expected to be complete by mid-October 2009.

*Eastbound off-ramp from Interstate 64 to Vandeventer is closed for

   pavement repairs on Papin Bridge - August 20.

*Westbound on-ramp from Vandeventer to Interstate 64 is closed for

    pavement repairs - July 21.
   -Changeable message boards have been placed near the work zone

     to detour motorists to Manchester and Kingshighway.

*Papin Street on-ramp is closed for pavement repairs.

Next Week's Work
-The inner lane on Interstate 64 from from Ewing Avenue to Jefferson

   Avenue will be closed around the clock from Wednesday, September

   9 to Friday, September 11. Crews will construct pier protection work

   under the three bridges and perform barrier and guardrail work.
