JETS & USO DC-Metro Area Military Job Fairs
Fort Myer, Virginia

The Joint Employment Transition Services (JETS)-USO Job Fairs are normally conducted from 10 AM to 2 PM at either the Sosa Recreation Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia or at the Spates Community Club, Fort Myer, Virginia. Click on the headers above for the current schedule and on the specific site name for directions.

The JETS group includes representatives from some 16 local military installations and over 1,000 job seekers regularly attend! Also, approximately 80 local and nationwide Employers usually attend these events, hiring for a wide range of occupations and career fields.

The events are open to ALL Department of Defense employees, retirees, and their family members. Service Dress uniform or business attire is highly recommended, and please bring plenty of resumes as this will be an opportunity for 'on-the-spot' interviews!

San Antonio Military Community Job Fair

The next semi-annual San Antonio Military Community Job Fair will be held on March 22, 2006 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m at the Live Oak Civic Center on the corner of Pat Booker Road and Loop 1604(click on site name for directions.) This highly successful event has attracted job seekers not only from the San Antonio Metropolitan area, but also from military bases in other parts of Texas and throughout the United States. Employers attending past job fairs have been very impressed with the wide variety of medical, professional, clerical, and technical skills offered. Each job fair has in the past drawn over 1,000 active duty military, family members, veterans and DoD civilian personnel. Many of our job seekers are available for relocation within Texas, the United States, or even overseas.

Over 100 employers and 1,000+ jobseekers usually attend this, the largest military job fair in the Southwest! Positions and skill sets at the fair represent a wide variety of occupations including: Aerospace, Medical, Professional, Clerical, IT, Technical, Construction Trades, Law Enforcement/ Security, Transportation/Logistics, and many others. And for Job Seekers, no pre-registration is necessary (just sign-in at the door) and Admission is FREE!

Service Academy Career Conference (SACC)

SACC is the Service Academy Career Conference, supported and endorsed by the Alumni Associations from the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and the Associations of Graduates (AOG) from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Virginia Peninsula Armed Forces Job Fair

Be sure to attend the next Military Affairs Council of the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce's Armed Forces Job Fair. This semiannual event, the MAC's Armed Forces Job Fair has been hailed as "One of the Biggest and Best Job Fairs on the East Coast!"

The Job Fair presents a dual benefit to those who participate:
