Route P in Ralls County to close for bridge repair

HANNIBAL - MoDOT will begin work on the Spencer Creek Bridge on Route P in Ralls County, just north of MO Route 154, September 22.  At that time, the road will close.  A MoDOT representative will be available at the Monday, September 14 Ralls County Commission meeting from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the courthouse to share details of the project.

"This is a community briefing to let the public know what's going to happen during construction and keeps the lines of communication open to the folks who use the road," said MoDOT Community Relations Manager Marisa Brown.  "We appreciate the commissioners allowing us the opportunity to provide details of this project and an update of other bridge and highway projects in Ralls County," she added.

The other Spencer Creek Bridge, located on Route P near Route K, is also slated to be repaired through MoDOT's Safe and Sound program, although the date has not yet been determined.
